Happy New Year everyone. I hope you had a good Christmas and that Covid caused as few problems as possible. Let´s hope 2022 is a better year and that things start to settle down. Try to support your local businesses. They all need us more than ever at the moment.
It´s that time of year again where, hopefully, we all get together with our loved ones for the annual festivities. Sadly there will be one less around our table this year, but hey, the show must go on as they say.
The global problems could be about to affect our production. I have just received an email from our printers to say they do not know if they have enough of the paper thickness we usually use for our magazine, and so it may have to be printed on a slightly thinner paper. As I write this, I don’t know if this will happen this month, or next, or ever. At least the great content will remain the same thanks to our wonderful team.
September, arguably is one of the best months of the year in Spain. Still warm enough for the beach or pool, but the sizzling temperatures have subsided. Also, the crush from the influx of Spanish second home owners has calmed down for a few months
And cook at 40C plus. I think I have drunk more beer this year than in any of the last 20 years we have lived in this beautiful country. Purely for cooling purposes of course. It was forecast to be a warm summer this year and for once the weather men were correct. Maybe because there are less cars on the road due to Covid restrictions? Anyway, soon be Christmas!!!
